ARC AWARE – AI Workflows for Applied Research and Evaluation will take place on 21–23 October 2026 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, in association with the 18th edition of the International Conference Globalization and Higher Education in Economics and Business Administration (GEBA 2026).

The programme combines a public GenAI workshop, an academic panel, and a peer-reviewed research session examining Artificial Intelligence through scientometric, bibliometric, and literature-based methods.

Participation

There is no participation or registration fee for any ARC AWARE Workshop 2026 activity. Participation in the programme on 21–23 October 2026 is free of charge.

Activities take place at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. Presentations in the 23 October research session are in person only.

Day 01 · Public Programme

Understanding GenAI Modes: Tools, Providers and Responsible Uses

ARC AWARE 2026 opens with the official public launch of ARC – The AI² Research Club, followed by a practical workshop on contemporary Generative AI workflows.

The workshop will examine reasoning modes, web search and deep research, connectors, document and data analysis, multimodal tools, code workflows, provider differences, verification, privacy, and the documentation of AI use in research.

The 21 October programme is open to the academic community and the interested public, subject to registration and room capacity. No participation or registration fee is required.

Day 02 · Academic Panel

What Counts as an Original Contribution in Research Enabled by AI?

The second day will feature an academic panel organized within the GEBA 2026 programme. The discussion will examine how originality, intellectual contribution, validation, and researcher responsibility should be understood when AI tools become part of the research workflow.

Topics will include the use of AI for programming, data analysis, writing and restructuring, source discovery, prototyping, and experimental reproduction, together with the responsibility of the researcher for methodological choices, verification, interpretation, and the final research contribution.

Panel discussion followed by questions and contributions from the audience.

GEBA 2026 Programme

The final time, room, and panel composition will be confirmed together with the general GEBA 2026 programme. No ARC AWARE participation fee is required.

Day 03 · Research Session

Scientometric and Literature-Based Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence

The research session will bring together selected contributions examining Artificial Intelligence, AI research, or clearly defined AI-related topics through scientometric, bibliometric, science mapping, systematic review, and other structured literature-based methods.

Both completed studies and ongoing research reporting intermediate, preliminary, or partial findings are eligible following peer review and selection.

Scientometric and Literature-Based Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence

Peer-reviewed presentations and discussion within the GEBA 2026 parallel-session programme.

Presentation and Participation

Accepted contributions must be presented in person at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. Online or remote presentations are not available.

No participation or registration fee is required for presenters or other participants in the ARC AWARE research session.

Final Schedule

The presentation order, session times, and room information will be published after the final GEBA 2026 programme and accepted contributions are confirmed.
