The 2026 Personal Finance and Investment Symposium will be held in Melbourne on 22-23 November 2026 as part of the annual Academy of Financial Services Australia-New Zealand Chapter meeting. The hybrid symposium brings together academics, practitioners, policymakers, and research students to share research and discuss current issues in personal finance, financial planning, and individual financial management, including retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxation, fintech, AI, ethics, regulation, financial education, equity and inclusion, behavioural finance, financial psychology, and financial literacy.

The theme of this year's symposium is: 

"Financial Planning in the Age of Uncertainty"
